Description
Our two-bedroom apartment sits above Fort Kent Cinema, a small-town movie theater we've been running for our community. You'll have the whole upstairs to yourself: a comfortable, well-equipped space that guests consistently describe as cozy and welcoming. For an additional fee you can book a private screening in the theater downstairs -- popcorn included. It's perfect for birthdays, reunions, rainy days, or just because. Ask us for details when you book. The space A comfortable upstairs apartment connected to Fort Kent Cinema. Two bedrooms (one with two double beds, one with a queen), a full kitchen, and a living room with a couch. We have games and puzzles for guests, plus the essentials: wifi, TV, parking. Small front porch and a grassy side yard for guests with dogs. Big parking lot with plenty of room for trailers, trucks, snowmobile rigs, and ATVs. A note about the space: The apartment shares walls with long-term tenants and sits above an active movie theater, so you may hear some ambient sound during showtimes. Most guests find it adds to the charm. We ask that you be considerate of neighbors during your stay. For families: We welcome kids, but the space isn't childproofed—outlets are uncovered and furniture has corners. We have plastic cups and games for older children, may not be appropriate for younger kids. Guest access The entire apartment is yours. You're also welcome to come downstairs and catch a movie at the cinema during our regular showtimes—or ask about booking a private screening for your group. Other things to note The apartment is connected to the movie theater, so you will occasionally hear some ambient noise coming from below the apartment during showtimes.
