Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape located just outside the picturesque town of Nailsworth. The Hay Barn is located high on the Cotswold Escarpment within walking distance to National Trust Woodchester Park/cafe and Coaley Peak where spectacular views across the Severn Vale can be enjoyed. The Hay Barn has been recently converted to a very high standard and offers the perfect place to relax and unwind with stunning views, peace and tranquility. The space The accommodation is split over two floors. Ground Floor - Open plan fully fitted kitchen and dining area with patio doors opening onto an outside patio area and private garden. Breakfast bar Downstairs shower room, WC and basin Twin bedroom - two single beds and wardrobe First Floor - Mezzanine living room with sofa and armchair. TV with internet streaming. King size bed in Master bedroom with wardrobe and ensuite bathroom (shower, WC and basin) Wood burning Stove (wood supplied) Underfloor heating throughout downstairs Towels and bed linen provided Iron and ironing board provided Outside patio with table, chairs and parasol Washing Machine Ample parking for 2/3 cars No smoking permitted within the property No pets Guest access Guests will be able to gain access to the property with an access code to a key box. Other things to note The Hay barn is situated within the grounds of our family home and we offer full privacy during your stay. Due to the proximity of our home to the Hay barn it is to be expected that you may see us from time to time. The Hay barn has steps down to the outside patio and also has a gravel entrance and drive, this will make wheelchair and buggy access difficult. The living room is on a mezzanine floor and overlooks down onto the ground floor. We would expect children to be closely monitored to ensure they do not try and climb onto the walled mezzanine area. The property is close to Forest Green Rovers football stadium and on home match days some noise can be heard from the stadium along with some traffic congestion before and after the match. We would always notify guests about home matches in advance If you are celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary please let us know and we will be happy to organise a bottle of bubbles, chocolates or flowers for a additional surcharge. Due to the Hay Barn being close to our family home and our neighbours we don't allow Hen/Stag parties. We also expect noise to be kept to a minimum past 10pm. We sometimes have animals at the farm (Cows & Sheep mainly) There is no bath within the property The twin room is on the Ground Floor and has a tiled floor (with underfloor heating) Access to the property if via our main house entrance which has a gravel farm track. This can present some problems for very low profile cars and we advise you to drive slowly. There are no stair gates We don't have an EV charge point for electric cars but several are around the area.
