One bedroom with queen bed + sweet loft space with additional queen bed, accessible through a custom ladder (steep - may not be suitable to small children or people with limited mobility). Perfect for a couple or families. This cabin has everything you need - enjoy your favorite beverage by the wood stove, sit outside on the front porch and listen to the ZigZag river, and use the Wi-Fi to catch up on work or stream your favorite movie. The kitchen is also well stocked with cooking supplies (olive oil, spices, etc.) and several coffee making options. The fenced backyard is a great gathering place, with an additional deck with grill, picnic table, game shed (foosball and darts) and horseshoe pit. A trail starts directly in front of the cabin, and in one minute brings you to the Zigzag river. Tons of hiking opportunities nearby! A 15 minute drive will bring you to Government Camp, the basecamp for skiing adventures at the famous ski slopes of Mt Hood Meadows, Timberline, and SkiBowl. Mountain biking close, including 10 mins to the Sandy Ridge Trail system. Walking distance to famous Skyway BBQ. Many amenities: games, smart TV, woodstove, backyard, WiFi, washer/dryer. Please note - only one parking spot is available on site. Extra parking available a short walk away by Skyway BBQ. We are also located in a residential neighborhood, please be respectful of the neighbors, at all times; they are full time residents and enjoy the peace of the forest as well as their privacy. Guest access Off-street parking is available for one car. Parking on the road across from and adjacent to the cabin is not permitted and will be enforced. However, additional street parking is available within half mile of the cabin by the Skyway Bar and Grill. Other things to note IMPORTANT!! To reach the cabin, guests will have to drive for half mile on a dirt road, which is not county-maintained, though generally in great shape in spring/summer/fall. In the winter and with snow conditions, a vehicle with good clearance and AWD or chains is highly recommended, as the road is only semi-regularly plowed by locals. By the parking spot, a snow shovel is provided.
