Welcome to the "Kastanie" holiday apartment on our farm in Altkreut, Wessobrunn. Newly built in 2024, it's part of our farm in the Five Lakes Region of the Pfaffenwinkel. The space Kastanie Holiday Apartment – ​​Rural Tranquility for up to 10 People Nestled in the heart of the Pfaffenwinkel region, surrounded by meadows and forest, the Kastanie holiday apartment is located on our lovingly restored farmstead in Altkreut, Wessobrunn – just about an hour from Munich. The apartment offers three bedrooms and a private bathroom with toilet, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, or multiple generations who want to spend time together while still appreciating privacy. The kitchen is equipped with a French press and espresso pot – for those who don't want to miss out on good coffee, even on vacation. Free fiber optic Wi-Fi is available at all times. The apartment is located on the upper floor (no elevator) and is therefore only partially suitable for guests with limited mobility. All around you, you'll find peace and quiet, nature, and the opportunity to truly leave everyday life behind for a few days – complemented by our on-site café (flexible opening hours) and the personal hospitality we offer. Facts & Figures - Approx. 125 m² living space - 2 twin bedrooms (can be used as twins or double beds) - 1 twin bedroom with two double beds (140 x 200 cm) - Mezzanine with up to 2 additional sleeping options (approx. 14 m²) - Fully equipped kitchen - Spacious living and dining area with glass front and views of the surrounding greenery - French press and stovetop espresso maker - Underfloor heating - Bathroom with shower - Separate WC The Linde (West) and Kastanie (East) apartments are both located on the first floor of the same building. A seminar room is situated between them. All units are accessible via a shared entrance on the ground floor. On the first floor, each apartment has its own entrance door for ample privacy. Additional WCs in the stairwell provide extra convenience. Location & Surroundings Altkreut is ideal for those who want to enjoy peace, nature, and wide open spaces – without sacrificing good transport links. From here, you can easily reach lakes, mountains, castles, and popular destinations, as well as smaller towns and cities in the region. The Kastanie apartment is part of our family-run Festenhof farm in Altkreut. Together with our other accommodations, we can host up to 19 people – perfect for families, groups of friends, or multi-generational trips where both togetherness and privacy are important. The outdoor area in the courtyard can also be used freely. Our event spaces (Waldblick, Kornkammer, Backhäusl) are not included in the holiday apartment booking and are only available by separate booking or prior arrangement. Our café is currently open once a month and is accessible to all guests, provided the opening time coincides with your stay. Please note: As Altkreut is both a holiday and event venue, events may be taking place elsewhere on the property during your stay (up to a maximum of 40 people, ending no later than 10 pm). Other things to note Electric car charging: A standard 220-volt outlet is available; alternatively, a high-voltage connection (400 volts) can be provided via our workshop. Important: In both cases, a suitable adapter is required, which we cannot provide on site. Please bring your own adapter if needed.
