Inlaw Apt on River near Mohegan Sun-kayak & canoe

Forget your worries in this spacious, serene space. Kayak or canoe on the Shetucket River, or relax on the patio & watch the swans, eagles, herons, river otters and more! Workout on the Nautilus stair stepper, do yoga on the patio, play guitar or corn hole, or take a nap in the zero-gravity recliner. Cook up some burgers on the gas grill then just kick back and enjoy the solar lights and propane fire pit. Head to Mohegan Sun Casino (13 miles away) or Foxwoods for a concert or some gambling. The space This is a lower in-law apartment that has a bedroom (no door needed) with a queen bed, a sitting area for reading or working, and a large living room with attached dining area/kitchenette and a spa-like bathroom with a rainhead shower. The living room is musically themed and has a queen size pullout sleeper sofa. There is a TV, a guitar, an old school CD player, a karaeoke machine if you feel like singing, a nautilus stairstepper, 3 kayaks, a propane grill and fire pit on patio, comfortable patio furniture and dining table, and two zero gravity recliners all for your enjoyment. Guest access Guests can park one car to the right of the garage near the house, and a second car in the parking area near the street. Walk down to the patio on the right side of the house…just follow the gravel, solar lit path that leads to the lower in-law apartment from the patio. I’m sorry to say this path is not wheelchair accessible as it is a gravel path. Other things to note The in-law apartment can fit 4 people on two queen beds; one bed in the bedroom and the other is a queen sleep sofa. There is 1100 sq. ft indoors, and a big patio outdoors with a dining table, comfortable seating/couch area with a propane fire pit, gas grill, and zero gravity recliners. Kayaks must be used by people with experience kayaking, and life vests must be worn when kayaking. I have three kayaks that are available for your enjoyment. Please be responsible as the Shetucket River can be dangerous. A dock is down at the riverfront where you would board the kayak. From my cove you would kayak to the right where you can then get on the main river, then around the tip of the peninsula you would head to the left, as kayaking to the right brings you to a dam and a waterfall. so please be aware of your surroundings and the way the river runs when kayaking. My cove is usually calm, but the river can get rough, so be reasonable and always prepared. Bring your phone with you and put in plastic bag in case of an emergency, and never be on the river past dusk or in bad weather.
