Cozy and peaceful 1 BR cabin, full of amenities

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful and forested neighborhood. Groceries, gas, and coffee shops close by. We are 2 miles from public boat ramps and marina, close to fishing marina, state parks and national forest recreational sites. 15 minutes from the airport ferry, 20 minutes from town shops and restaurants. Property is adjacent to the Tongass National Forest, the largest U.S. National Forest, which is a temperate, coastal rain forest. The space The cabin and our home sit on almost 2 acres with cedar, hemlock and alders out our back door. The 640sqft cabin has an upstairs loft bedroom with two extra-long twin beds that convert to a king size bed. There are extra blankets and pillows that can be found in the dresser and an electric blanket for those cooler nights. Downstairs, the kitchen is maintained and stocked. Water and sodas can be found in the fridge, coffee and tea in the cupboard for those early morning fishing trips. After a long day of fishing or hiking, there is a stackable washer and dryer, with detergent above the dryer. Living room has a small cafe table and chairs, and a full-size sofa couch. A smart tv is provided in the living room (must have your own account). Under the tv, there is a basket of games. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. In case you forget something, we try to keep plenty of amenities under the sink or above the toilet. There is a gas grill for outdoor barbecues on the porch, and if you need extra freezer space for your catch, we have a chest freezer available for your use. During the summer months, there is an abundance of salmon berry, huckleberry and blueberry bushes. There is also a cherry tree that might be in bloom, so long as the bears, deer or birds don't devour them. Please enjoy and help yourself to the berries and cherry tree if you can.
