We are in one of the most beautiful spots in the Mediterranean, ideal for bike rides, going to its beautiful beaches or discovering the cultural heritage, from the Monastery of St Pere de Rodes from the 10th to the iconic Dalí Museum or the painter's house in Portlligat. We are in an inland village, Vilajuiga, a strategic enclave, not very touristy but with an attractive gastronomic and recreational offer. The space We have refurbished a beautiful apartment on the main floor of a 17th century farmhouse. This space was formerly the Hostal de Vilajuiga, a stopping point for travelers and artists who came to enjoy the medicinal waters and the remains of the Benedictine monastery of St Pere de Rodes. This apartment, with a rural house license, offers all the comforts for a medium-long stay; 2 spacious bedrooms with beautiful closets, a bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and cozy living room with a sofa bed. The dining room joins the spacious and sunny private patio with sun loungers and a bench and a covered outdoor dining room with space for 8 people, where you can dine on summer nights. The town is located at the information point of the Cap de Creus Park, a maritime-terrestrial heritage site known for its scenic beauty, biological diversity, and diving, hiking, and cycling activities. It also enjoys the prestigious cultural heritage. We are 15 minutes from the Dalí Museum, 10 minutes from Llançà, just 20 minutes from the picturesque Port de la Selva or bohemian Cadaqués, and we cannot fail to mention the Dalí House Museum in Portlligat or the Toy Museum in Figueres. We are in a land of excellent wines and enjoy an extensive ethnological offer. And where there is wine, there is good bread and, of course, honey! Vilajuiga, despite being a quiet inland village, boasts an incredible gastronomic offer and unparalleled logistical facilities (we have a train station) that make it a strategic location to enjoy a complete vacation in every way. We invite you to discover the wild beaches of the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park, the secret and splendid coves of Cap de Creus, sail from the Rosas Marina, and dive into the coveted waters of this impressive corner of the Mediterranean. The gas stove is fully equipped; oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle... and if you need anything, ask us and we'll see what we can do! Free-to-use washing machine, fans in the bedrooms, and a private patio with a covered dining area for 8 or more people. You can park for free at the property's door. You'll have free internet access and best of all; our advice and that of our aunt Rosa, the owner of the Masia and 5th generation of residents of the place, known for her hospitality with travelers.
