Fully remodeled in 2024, your guesthouse includes an updated/modern kitchen and bathroom, with brand new appliances including washer & dryer, fridge and dishwasher. ★Please make sure to read the "Managing Expectations" section at the bottom of this description so you can make a totally informed decision! ★Location★ Although located on a quiet street, the property has a walk score of 93, and is less than a 5 minute walk to some of Seattle's best restaurants and cafes. 15min walk to Kerry Park - considered the most iconic view of the Seattle skyline, with the Space Needle prominent at the center and Mount Rainier in the background. ★Sleeping★ When its time for bed, you'll get to relax and recharge on hotel quality linens, a new queen-sized mattress, and better than hotel quality memory foam pillows. The couch also lays down for one guest to sleep on. ★Cooking★ The kitchen is stocked with the equipment necessary to whip up a home cooked meal and there's a Trader Joe's and Safeway about 4 blocks away. There's a dining table that seats four when you're ready to eat! ★Entertainment★ The living space features a 4k Smart TV with streaming apps (Netflix account provided). You will also have a handful of board games available. Free high-speed Wi-Fi included. ★Managing Expectations★ We truly believe you will love your experience, however we want to make sure you are totally informed before you decide to book. Shared walls: Your guesthouse is NOT the entire building. The guesthouse is the basement level of the house with two floors above where the host lives (a family of three). We do our best to keep it down but you will likely hear us from time to time (particularly during breakfast and dinner mealtimes) so we apologize for any noise. Ceiling Height: The ceilings are 6'10", which is still very comfortable for most guests. The basement still gets great light and is equipped with new blinds for privacy. Parking: There is no designated parking, however there is street parking (usually directly in front of the house, but sometimes you may have to park a block away). Please note parking is not covered, and is not monitored. Your guesthouse is in a very safe neighborhood. Stairs: The stairs down to the unit are a bit steep so if you have mobility issues it may be tough to maneuver.
