Located in Hamnavoe on Shetlands 'West Side' a 15 minute drive from Lerwick with bus service available. There is a local shop & marina 1 minute walk away including 'Shetland Sea Adventures' who offer boat charters & day trips to the island of Foula. Meal Beach is a very scenic 10 minute walk away. The space Arrival - You will arrive at a private ground floor entrance (Left side of the garage door) which leads to a private stairwell. Climb the stairs and enter into the open plan first floor apartment. Make yourselves at home! Kitchen - There is a fully fitted modern kitchen including coffee machine, washing machine & tumble drier. Lounge - Features a 42" Sony Bravia Smart T.V with Free-view, Netflix & Amazon Prime + a Bluetooth speaker for all your music needs. Strong Wifi is included with an average speed of 70 Mbps. The comfortable sofa pulls out to make a double bed accommodating two persons. Bedroom - Follow on through into the double bedroom which has a high quality mattress ensuring a decent nights sleep. The bedroom has hanging, drawer and shelf space for clothes including a tall mirror & hairdryer. Shower Room - Features a double size cubicle with a high end rainfall shower and mains pressure hot water supply ensuring an exceptional showering experience. This property was complete in 2024 and was built to an exceptionally high standard. Guest access On arrival please drive right up around and towards the rear of the property on past the 2 grey garage doors. Park anywhere in front of the retaining wall and look to your right, you will see the ground floor entrance with 'Dalmore Apartment' on the door to the left hand side of the garage door. The apartment consists of the entire space above the double garage shown in the cover photo. Guests will have access to the full apartment including private stairwell entrance. If you need to store bikes, kayaks etc.. in the garage please let me know. Other things to note Check in/out times can be very flexible, I understand if you are travelling by Northlink ferry you will arrive early and leave late. Please message me to clarify check in/out time requests if out with normal hours. Important - If you have a car please do not obstruct either garage door or the driveway entrance. I'm a 24/7 on call Firefighter and may need to dash away anytime day or night.
