Set a short 15 minute drive from The Hunter Valley vineyards, our thoughtfully reimagined former church hall offers a unique retreat for wine enthusiasts, nature lovers or anyone simply seeking tranquility. With two bedrooms and an open plan living area flooded with natural light, our space promises a blend of comfort and character. The space St Matthews was originally located in Cessnock and was moved to Bellbird in the late 1800's where it served as the local anglican church. It was moved to the rear of the site in the early 1900's when it became the congregation hall. St Matthews was lovingly converted to a private residence in the early 2000's by a local builder. The home now has 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in each room. Both rooms feature built in wardrobes and cozy bed linen. The rooms are independently heated. The living area is open plan and the kitchen, whilst small, has everything you need. There is an outside entertaining area which is undercover and there is also a 2 burner bbq. Other things to note The property is located less than a five minute drive to Cessnock and is a 15 minute drive to the vineyards.
