The Flying Barn

Whether you need to relax or get away, this comfy cozy “Barn” embodies everything you need to exhale, enjoy, and say, "this is just what I needed!" The kitchen has all the amenities you need to prepare your favorite meals. The barn offers beach access to one of the area's favorite beaches, Siskiwit Bay. Enjoy swimming, relaxing and, best of all, watching the sunset. The charming town of "Corny" and the nearby activities will help you make memories at this unique, family-friendly experience. The space Welcome to The Flying Barn! We've painstakingly prepared this cottage with you, our guests, in mind; with your comfort and enjoyment at the forefront of our design ideas. The open floor plan with 16' ceiling in the great room provides a warm and welcoming experience for your stay at The Flying Barn. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing delicious meals. Our entire family (all 11 of us) have enjoyed the spacious and open feel of the great room. Playing cards around the oak dining or screen porch table. The leather couches are soooo comfortable. But be sure to get off it once in awhile and enjoy our private nature walk on our 2 acre wooded estate or the nature trails that lead to Lake Superior's Siskiwit Bay beach! . The queen bed mattresses are medium/firm foam. The loft bedroom has a private 1/2 bath and reading nook. Our smart tv is on a movable base that allows you to watch tv anywhere in the home; bedroom, great room or even on the screen porch! Our location is close to great activities and experiences. We hope that you'll make great personal memories at our Flying Barn! Guest access The entire cottage is for your use (except the utility closet that houses our heating, WiFi and well systems.) Please enjoy our private trail on the back or south side of the cottage. The fire pit is for you to enjoy. Two bicycles are available for fun rides to town or nearby Siskiwit Falls. We have one private cabinet above the fridge that is for owner use only please.
