Top of Our House

This is an apartment on the top floor of our home in Girdwood with views of Alyeska, Fishes Breath, and Maxes Mountains. It is one mile from Alyeska ski resort, and near Virgin Creek Falls. It's a one bedroom with a king bed, full bath, kitchen, TV in the bedroom, and a kitchen table and couch. It is accessible by walking up two flights of stairs on the outside of the house. We live downstairs with a toddler who you will likely hear. Sometimes four wheel drive is needed in heavy snow. The space One bedroom, one bath, kitchen, dining table, and small couch. The bed is the only official sleeping space, but if you have additional kids that can sleep on a sleeping pad you bring or on the couch, go for it! Guest access Entire top floor apartment, and little deck. Other things to note We do live in the house below, and we have a toddler that you will likely hear. If you have a two wheel drive car and it snows a lot coupled with no plowing, it might be a challenge to get up Saint Johann Loop rd and/or get up our driveway once you go down it. If it does snow a lot, we will remove snow to make sure you can get up the driveway, but we want to be conscientious. If you are willing to let us know when you plan to head out in the morning, we can make sure the driveway is clear for you. And if you want to sleep in, let us know that too so that we don't make too much shoveling/snow blowing noise outside too early. I drive a two wheel drive car and make it work all but a few days of the year.
