Located just minutes away from downtown Kings Beach & Incline Village, a short 12 minute car ride to world class ski resorts such as Northstar, a 5-10 minute walk from one of Lake Tahoe's most coveted beaches - Speedboat Beach. A perfect getaway with a fully-stocked kitchen, WiFi, Smart TV, classic games for indoor amusement, and a wood-burning fireplace, it's fun for everyone. The space This cabin features a bedroom with a queen size bed, a pristine bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen complete with an island for meal preparation, dining, or relaxing. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or tea in the sunroom. After a day skiing and enjoying the snow, cozy up on the couch and soak in the evening. Please note that while our cabin is fully equipped, the oven is temporarily unavailable for use. We will soon introduce an additional bedroom with a cozy queen bed. Our guests have access to the entire cabin, with the exception of the owner's closet/room & garage which will be locked. There are no laundry facilities for your use, unfortunately, but there is a laundromat just 2 minutes away. There is parking for up to 4 cars in front of the property (2 on the driveway and 2 more on the landing in front of the driveway). If there is any snow or ice on the ground, parking on the sloped driveway is not permitted. No street parking is available. Other things to note No smoking, no parties, and no shoes in the house please. We expect guests to respect our neighbors and observe quiet hours of 9pm to 8am. Our place is intended for guests looking to relax and enjoy nature. Any code enforcement citations with regards to extra guests, or noisy behavior, will be transferred onto you. Please note that our cozy Airbnb offers a convenient location close to amenities. As such, there may be occasional road noise. This rental does not allow pets. We respect the ADA laws, and we respectfully decline your pet / animal in our private short-term rental home. We reserve the right to charge the guest an additional cleaning fee if evidence of a pet is found on the property. Our cabin is nestled in a neighborhood where there is bear and other wildlife activity. Please review and respect these guidelines: *Do NOT feed any animals and keep your distance. They are looking for easily accessible food and trash. *Do NOT leave any cabin doors or windows open or unlocked when you are not present; close all curtains when away. *Do NOT leave any food or garbage outside; all garbage should be locked in the bear box. *Do NOT leave food in your car. Please note that if property damage occurs due to guest negligence, you may be held liable. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for uncontrollable factors typical of Lake Tahoe, such as poor air quality during wildfire season and winter snowfall. If you wish to safeguard your trip against unforeseen circumstances not covered by the booking platform’s cancellation policies, we suggest purchasing external trip insurance. Our cancellation policy remains in effect regardless. Season Details: Summer months - Like most cabins in Tahoe, there is no A/C in this cabin. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and the living area, and a portable fan is provided for your comfort. Winter months - During winter, check the forecast and prepare for winter conditions. If snow exceeds 5 inches, our snow removal service will clear the parking area of bulk snow at least once daily. Guests should be ready to shovel snow if less than 5 inches falls. Guests are responsible for maintaining their vehicles and removing snow. Please consider if snow shoveling suits your stay. Check Tahoe's weather before departure for snow chains, boots, and jackets. Road plowing is regular, but delays can occur during big storms. Power outages can occur and impact our heating system, so ensure you bring enough warm clothes. Please review the Good Neighbor Policy available on the City of Placer County website. Given that this property is privately owned, we kindly request that all guests adhere to this policy and treat the home with the same respect and care as they would their own. Our cabin is a cherished retreat, and we take great pride in its upkeep and maintenance. Regular inspections are our priority, and we strive to promptly address any issues that may arise.
