Escape to Tranquility: Lakefront Mountain Chalet

Escape to this charming lakefront chalet nestled in the serene woods of Lake Adger, Mill Spring NC. This 2 bedroom- 2-bathroom home offers a perfect blend of tranquility and breathtaking views. The spacious floorplan allows you to unwind by the fireplace while the large windows showcase the views. Step outside onto the deck or screened in porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee in a rocking chair, take an afternoon nap on the cozy porch bed, or sit by the lake and watch the sunset. The space Living area: The chalet boasts a spacious living room with a couch, love seat, and record player. There is also a full kitchen with utensils, pots, and pans as well as a dining table with room for six. Everything you need to enjoy a nice meal or relax while playing board games. Bedrooms: There are 2 bedrooms each with a queen-sized bed and fresh linens. The master has an in-room bath, and the second room has a shared bathroom with access from the bedroom. Outdoor Spaces: Off the living room or master bedroom you will have access to a screened in porch and a deck. Both are overlooking the lake and mountains. The screened in porch is complete with 2 rocking chairs and a cozy outdoor bed. The community has many miles of walking trails available. The marina is a short distance away and is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset. Boat and Lake Access: The chalet is lakefront. The marina is a short distance (you can walk or drive) to a designated boat slip where you can put in a kayak or paddleboard. There is a public boat ramp several miles away-just off of Lake Adger Road. You are welcome to bring a pontoon or fishing boat as well. During your stay you can park your boat at a designated space in the Blueridge Overlook Marina. Please note there is and 80 horsepower limits on Pontoons and a 60-horsepower limit on fishing boats. To maintain the tranquil environment, no jet skis or water skiing permitted on Lake Adger. Attractions: The International Tryon Equestrian Center is only a 20 minutes' drive. Hendersonville, NC is a 45-minute drive. The Biltmore House of Asheville is an hour drive. Other Items to Note: 1) We hope you enjoy the beautiful drive along the scenic paved roads passing through a covered bridge (great photo spot) and enjoying the abundance of wildlife you might see. The drive is several miles into the community so we recommend picking up your groceries on the way in so you will not have to go back out until you are ready to explore. 2) The area for parking in front of the chalet will accommodate two cars. 4) Washer and dryer access are included with your stay. 5) We know you love your furry friends but due to family members with allergies we cannot accept pets. 6)No house parties allowed. Guest access You have access to the entire house, excluding the unfinished basement. Enjoy all the comforts and amenities of the chalet while respecting this off-limits area. No house parties No smoking or vaping inside the home We hope you enjoy the scenic mountain drive on the paved roads through the covered bridge crossing the creek. (great photo spot) The drive is approximately 4 miles into the community, so we recommend picking up groceries on the way in, so you won't have to go back out until you are ready to explore the area. A marina slip is available if you would like to bring a boat. Please let me know in advance if you plan to do so. There is an 80 hp limit on pontoons and 60 hp limit on all other watercraft. No jet skis or water skiing allowed at Lake Adger. Also- The marina is a wonderful place to watch the sunset or take a walk.
