Sunny apartment in La Zenia centre

This bright, south facing apartment is ideally located right in La Zenia Centre, close to lots of shops, restaurants, bars, banks etc. It has a well-equipped kitchen, with oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer, air frier, microwave, electric kettle and toaster. It also has a washing machine, iron, ironing board and hair drier. The space Teresa has been welcoming guests to this apartment since 2000. Because she does not live in Spain, Teresa depends totally on her management company to look after guests. She couldn't be happier with her current team. They are very welcoming, reliable and helpful. They keep the apartment spotless and respond promptly if a problem arises. She activated her Airbnb account in October 2024 as her previous advertising company discontinued providing a service to apartment owners. However, she has dozens of 5 star reviews which can be shared with prospective guests if requested. Unfortunately these cannot be transferred to her Airbnb listing. Zenia Boulevard, a vast open air shopping centre beautifully set out in streets and containing all the well known stores as well as a whole floor dedicated to restaurants of different nationalities, is just a 15 minute walk away. It is the largest shopping centre in the Province of Alicante. It has an open play area for children who love to cool off under the water from the sprinklers. There is a large stage where free entertainment is provided from time to time. The apartment has Wifi and the television has lots of english channels. There is a beautiful shared pool with a toddler section at the rear of the apartment building. There is free parking on the street downhill from the rear entrance gate. La Zenia has everything you could ever need for an enjoyable family holiday. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the beach and is right beside a large, well stocked supermarket, bars, restaurants, banks, dentist and pharmacy. There is a lovely seafront walk stretching all the way from La Zenia Beach to Cabo Roig Marina and beyond. See the map included in the photos which shows the seafront walk and also Zenia Boulevard, showing the apartment circled in red almost half way between the beach and the Boulevard. Orihuela Costa street market (close to Zenia Boulevard), with up to 800 stalls, is a 15 to 20 minute walk and is held every Saturday morning ending 2 pm. This is the perfect place to ramble around and soak up the atmosphere while you buy fresh fruit and vegetables, colourful clothing or pick up unusual gifts to take home from your holiday. There is a regular bus service from Zenia Boulevard to the nearest town of Torrevieja where children can enjoy a day out in the water park. There are also organised coach trips which do pick ups from Consum supermarket car park across the road from the apartment. These are a great way of exploring towns up and down the coast without having the stress of arranging car hire and having to drive yourself. They even do trips as far away as Terra Mitica Theme Park in Benidorm. See the brochure in the apartment for details. Guest access The apartment is on the 3rd floor and is accessible by stairs or a lift. We have welcomed guests who use wheelchairs in the past and they were very happy as the apartment is all on one level so access between the rooms is not a problem. However, the shower is in the bath so it is not suitable for wheelchair users. Other things to note The rent does not include the 83Euro cleaning fee which is payable to the management company on arrival. Our management company usually like guests to vacate the apartment by 10am so that they can have it cleaned and ready for the next guest by 2pm. Departure time may be flexible in some cases if there is no guest due to arrive the same day.
