Escape to our charming countryside studio, nestled in the farmlands of the Skagit Valley and surrounded by unobstructed country views. Our studio is perfect for those seeking solace or adventure with nearby access to world-class recreation such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. The space The studio is located on our property next to the primary residence, but detached from the main house. The studio and east yard provides privacy from the main house, but keep in mind that we are a family-friendly property with two children (ages 11 & 8) and two friendly cats whom you can expect occasional outdoor play. You have full access to the unit via the stone pathway from the driveway/parking spot as well as the large, grass yard to the east of the property which features a fire pit (pending local burn bans). The park-like setting is great for enjoying the surrounding views including stunning views of Mt.Baker on a clear day. The studio has been completely renovated from previously used as a garden shed. The space features 1 queen sized bed with nightstands, a sitting area with two leather club chairs, flat screen full swivel Smart TV, a workspace with free WiFi, kitchenette, and full-sized bathroom. Ductless heating/cooling system keeps the space comfortable during all seasons. Kitchenette features a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (coffee, creamer, tea provided), bottle opener, & napkins. Full-sized bathroom with essentials such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer. Guest access You will have full access to the studio and yard space to the east of the unit for enjoying the views or use of the fire pit (pending any local burn bans). Dedicated free parking space is located in the driveway nearest the stone pathway. Other things to note - This is our primary family-friendly residence, so you will likely see us coming/going during your stay. We have two indoor/outdoor cats, Miller (black cat) and Stormy (gray cat) that you may see roaming the property. They are not allowed inside the studio as to keep the space allergen free for guests. - Our property operates on a septic system, so please do not flush anything besides toilet paper. - Non smoking unit/property
