We do not hold dates (please do not ask) due to past experiences where guests ask us to do so, then never inform us their plans changed so that we could open the dates again. If you need to extend, that is fine, but keep in mind the calendar is open, and others may reserve the days you need so please be sure to reserve the days you need ahead of time. The same way the place was ready for you, it needs to be ready for the next guest.
