Natural bathing spot: the Gaira River is less than a 10-minute walk from the apartment, and less than another 10 minutes further on you will find a small, peaceful beach with a refreshing natural “shower”. The spectacular Tayrona National Natural Park is about 24 km from the apartment. It can easily be visited as a day trip, travelling there and back on two local buses (total outbound fare approximately COP 20,000–25,000 per person). You can leave at around 7:00 a.m. and return at around 7:00 p.m. Total bus travel time for the round trip is approximately four hours. The first beach is about an hour’s walk away, and the furthest about two hours.
