Barn & Breakfast Glamping and farm stay! Open spring / fall. Enjoy nature and cozy comfort in your spacious and private historic barn Loft featuring a queen and trundle bed, comfy couch, pellet stove, coffee/tea, dining nook, and kids corner. Farm-to-Loft breakfast offered. (Note: Parking is approx. 150 meters walk to barn.) Downstairs is unheated and features bathroom (camping toilet / no shower), camping kitchenette, walking trails, fire pit with wood for sale. Let us host you 🌷! The space Our 5 acre property is nestled in farmland yet only 15 minutes from downtown. The upstairs loft (30x40) features string lighting for ambiance, a plush queen bed with linens, trundle bed with two twins and bedding, cozy sofa, blankets, a pellet stove and dining nook. The lower level is your area for simple “glamping” cooking with a sink powered by a 5 gallon tank and a Coleman oven and stove. Outside is a private fire pit with Adirondack chairs and wood for you to enjoy. The ideal retreat for those who want to camp, but want many of the comforts of a B&B! Guest access Parking area is separate from our home drive and about 150 meters from Barn. Enter through north side of barn. Sliding barn doors can be left open for outside air, or closed. No locks. Rural and safe. Other things to note We offer a farm to loft breakfast for $15.00/ per guest (including tax and “loft service”) - from our chickens to you. And, we sell our eggs for $2/half dozen and other homemade, seasonal treats. 🌻 One bag of pellets provided per day in cool months, when temperatures drop below 50. Extra bags available $6/bag. We also sell firewood bundles for the fire pit with a complementary fire starter for $5/bundle. We have a Newfoundland mix, husky mix, and Pomeranian on our property. They LOVE to say hello, so do let us know if you are afraid of dogs. Also, Nigerians, ducks, and hens abound for your pleasure! The property is yours to explore - walk trails, feed chickens, read a book on a swing or under a tree. Gardens are meant to be shared. Bring cozy socks or slippers in cooler months as Loft can be chilly in morning or when temperatures drop below freezing.
