Little Red Mountain House

This mountain house is nestled in 12 ha of cloud forest reserve just 30mins from Cali. Wake up to birdsong, do a little yoga, explore the local trails or just relax in the pretty, orchid-filled garden. The village square with local shops and restaurants is just a 10min stroll away. The house has three double bedrooms (a double bed in each), one bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the other two have a shared bathroom. There’s a spacious living room with chimenea, and a well-stocked kitchen. The space I live and host here in this pretty, three-bedroomed mountain house but right now I'm away so the whole three-bedroom house is available until mid-October (and after that, two of the three rooms will be available to rent). The house has a spacious living room which is great for gatherings, shared lunches round the big dining table, or for getting the fire going at night. There's a small but well-stocked kitchen - I'm vegan so I do keep the kitchen vegetarian (no meat or fish cooked here, though there are some good lunch options in the village for anyone craving meat :) ). You can enjoy wandering or sunbathing in the orchid-filled gardens and there are some forest trails to explore for the more adventurous! My neighbours are lovely and have some great options for massage, yoga, and other therapies, as well as visiting the home of local kombucha brewers, Artesana. Guest access The whole house and gardens are available for guests. You are welcome to cook in the vegetarian kitchen and I make sure there are the essentials for cooking most dishes - as well as good coffee! Other things to note This is a great retreat spot to escape the city and enjoy the slower pace, the mountain air, the birds and a healthy way of life. I'm happy for folks to light the fire, cook veggie food together and enjoy some beers or wine but it's not a party spot and I respect our village-y calm. Registration Details 700134
