The space This spacious, peaceful and private home, accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms each with queen beds. It is a special destination ideal for special occasions. Guests will be enthralled with the scenery that can be enjoyed from virtually every room, along with the extensive artworks adorning the walls - everywhere you look there is something captivating! The ground floor is home to the extensive library, a quiet space where you can retreat, recline in comfort and enjoy one of the hundreds of books, or relax and stream on your device to your hearts content. The main living and dining areas, balcony, master bedroom and ensuite are located on the first floor. The expansive living area with floor to ceiling glass has 3 super comfortable leather sofas where you can relax and stream your favourite shows on the large flat screen smart TV. Enjoy drinks on the large balcony, gather around the long dining table or in the sheltered courtyard to enjoy a meal and some wonderful SA wine. If you enjoy cooking you will love this kitchen! If you'd prefer to eat out there are numerous excellent restaurants and pubs nearby, and a large range of food delivery options if you'd rather stay in and enjoy the space. Your comfort is assured year round, with state of the art newly installed air-conditioning throughout, an electric fireplace and fully motorised exterior security shutters for total privacy and darkness for a great night's sleep or an afternoon nap. The master suite is simply breathtaking - lie in bed and watch the twinkling lights stretching as far as the eye can see! Adjacent the dining area is the incredible chef’s kitchen with metres of marble bench space and every top quality euro appliance you'd need to cook up a storm. Foodies will love the extensive collection of cookbooks. Make your morning coffee with the espresso machine while gazing across the entire city of Adelaide. Bedrooms 2 and 3, along with the main bathroom and laundry are in a separate wing a few steps up from the kitchen. Both rooms have lovely views, super comfortable queen beds, plenty of storage for your belongings, privacy blinds and total block out shutters. There is a large desk and ergonomic chair in bedroom 2 with Apple Mac computer you’re welcome to use, should you need a quiet space to work during your stay. The rear yard is fully fenced and the courtyard area also leads to a fully fenced garden area which is pet friendly. The famous Mount Osmond Golf Club is a mere 5 minute walk away. Otherwise it is all yours to enjoy! Other things to note Guests will need to navigate stairs inside at the property. Children are more than welcome, however please note that due to the various levels of the home steps cannot be avoided, so parents need to be comfortable that this will not pose a safety risk for very little ones. Parking - 2-3 cars can be easily accommodated adjacent the entry door, however it is a bit tricky to turn your vehicle around when there is more than one car parked. If you are comfortable reversing your vehicle down the driveway this isn't a problem. There is plenty of free parking available on the street, with resident parking permits available for guests. This will require a short walk up the sloped driveway. There is also additional parking available at the rear of the home via a separate street entrance if required. We are very happy to welcome guests for longer stays, however we require the property be cleaned and linen refreshed every 2 weeks, at a mutually convenient time. This will incur an additional cleaning charge which does not need be paid in advance. We can discuss this with you and will send a request for payment via AirBnB after the service.
