Private and peaceful 1 bedroom apt features private entrance, spacious rooms and a convenient location. NOT basement. Is 1st flr (3 steps). Great & comfortable home-base to relax and will be your home away from home. Queen size bed, cable TV on large smart TV, off street parking, self-regulated heat and AC, comfortable and new furnishings for great long term stay. Kitchen: oven, micro, air fryer, coffee/tea service, pots, plates, silverware, table/chairs. Newly renovated bathroom/spa shower. The space Centerport is a great town located in between Huntington village (10 mins. west) and Northport village (10 mins east). Approx. 30 mins from Islip airport and 1 hr from JFK or LGA. We are 1 hr from NYC and 10 min from LIRR Huntington stop, 5 mins from the Greenlawn LIRR stop. Huntington RR has express trains to NYC which takes around an hour. Down the street from Waters Edge catering hall and close to Centerport beach (less than 10 min drive). Lots of windows and around 700' of living space! Separate private entrance, separate thermostat, digital lock check-in, owner upstairs in completely separate unit of this 2 fam. house Perfect place for a comfortable long term stay. Has all amenities, is private and will feel like a home away from home! The unit is always professionally cleaned, nicely decorated and cozy. We welcome realistic travelers with reasonable expectations. We live upstairs and are quiet and respectful, have a service dog who barks a few seconds, then stops, when she sees someone on the street - our dog is never unattended. There are gardens and woods around our home and an occasional cricket or ant may visit. You can squish it or befriend it, but in the suburbs it is common. We work hard to maintain our property and are responsive to our guests needs and strive to provide a wonderful experience. Like in any home, things break - and we fix right away if they do! Our place is not perfect but we try! We have updated the bathroom - new toilet, sink & faucet, vanities and floor and just completed a full shower renovation with beautiful marble tile, rain shower, spa nozzles and full make-over. We're really proud of our latest revision! Hot water is hot and shower pressure is great BTW. Our private parking area is directly across from our house and around 30 ft. walk up slight incline. There is one step at front walkway and two steps at your entrance door. Guest access Guests have private access to their own apartment along with patio at their front door. Unit is around 700 sq ft and completely separate in our 2-fam home. This is 1st floor, NOT basement, 3 steps front stairs. Other things to note For long term monthly stays we offer weekly sheet and towel exchange to keep things as fresh as possible! Our goal is to make all guests welcome and comfortable whether they're here for a couple of nights or a couple of months! We have just done a full reno of the bathroom and have a professional local cleaning service to better maintain the apartment, which is fully sanitized after each guests departure. All linens are changed after each checkout. General Rules: Check-in/Check-out: Check-in time is 3:00pm on), and check-out time is no later than 11:00am. Guests: Only guests registered on the Airbnb booking are permitted. No more than 2 in unit . Smoking: Smoking and vaping is not allowed inside the property. Parties/Events: No parties or events are permitted. Noise: Please respect the noise level, especially after 9:00 pm. Pets: Pets are not allowed. Parking: Parking is available at our private lot next door (30' across from our house) Damage: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property. Snacks are complimentary, the coffee pot, bean grinder, silverware is yours to use but not take! (I kid you not, we had a guest who thought he was at Target!) Cleanup: Please wash dishes, cups, etc. Appreciate if guests can keep things tidy! If you want to rearrange the furniture during your stay, we're OK with that - just move things back prior to checkout. Wi-Fi: We have Optimum Wi-Fi and password will be shared upon check in. Access Codes: Door lock code will be texted 24 hours prior. We strive for 5* reviews - If there is anything that needs addressing please contact us immediately so it can be remedied.
