Book your stay today and experience LakeSlide Retreat! The space Welcome to LakeSlide Retreat — a beautifully furnished, luxury cabin at Lake Martin, AL. The spacious 1.3 acre property is filled with towering pines which provide privacy and serene views. The house in Village of Kowaliga Bay was designed for family and friends to spend precious quality time together with plenty of room indoors and outdoors to enjoy. The Space This luxury home offers three bedrooms with enough space to sleep 9 guests, making it the perfect option for one to two families, or multiple couples. Living Area As you enter the cabin you will be greeted by an open floorplan and everything you need to have an enjoyable stay in this newly constructed home. The living area has plenty of seating options for everyone, including a deep and comfortable couch where you can sit and listen to the Bluetooth record player (with a collection of our favorite vinyl records), have a conversation by the fireplace, watch your favorite movie on TV or choose from one of the many games (adults and kids). There are also plenty of books and toys available for children of all ages. Kitchen/Dining The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is extremely well-equipped for whipping up culinary creations and tasty snacks. There’s plenty of counter space for a sous chef or two to help with meal prep, and a pantry means there’s lots of room for your group’s groceries — plus all your favorite treats. In addition to all of the necessities, the fully stocked kitchen also has the cooking appliances you will need including a crock pot, air fryer, instantpot, toaster, Keurig coffee station and more! The outdoor dining table seats nine and is where you’ll enjoy long lunches and delicious dinners together. There’s also a breakfast bar that seats three and is ideal for grabbing a quick bite before heading out for an adventure-packed day. Bedrooms & Baths The opulent primary suite ensures a serene sleep in the sumptuous king-size bed with a pillowtop mattress and Egyptian-cotton sheets, you'll never want to leave. The modern bedside reading lights are perfect to relax and enjoy a book in bed. Indulge in the spa-like rain shower and tub in your en suite bathroom. Just down the hall, the half bathroom also features a washer and dryer. Bedroom #2 can be found upstairs. The bohemian-style queen suite includes a pillow top mattress, Egyptian-cotton sheets and full size desk for guests who wish to work remotely. A modern full bathroom with a rain shower and tub is conveniently located directly outside the room. Bedroom #3 is across the hall with two sets of bunk beds and a trundle bed (two double beds, three twin beds). This Auburn-themed room is perfect for kids (or kids at heart) who love to have epic sleepovers or stay up late playing arcade games (Pac-Man with twelve games, NFL Blitz). All bedrooms have smart Roku TVs, ceiling fans and blackout curtains. A pack-n-play, baby tub and children’s books are located upstairs. Deck/Porch/Outdoor Space The cabin features a two-tiered deck with a 9-foot tunnel slide, outdoor sectional couch, rocking chairs, flat top grill, gas firepit, and screened-in dining area (heater/fan) upstairs. The lower deck features porch swings, a dart board, corn hole and yard games as you look out over the creek and lush wooded area. String lights cover both decks at night creating a fun and festive atmosphere day or night. Community Amenities The Village at Kowaliga Bay is a family-friendly water access community with access to a clubhouse, zero-entry pool, shared boat slips, a private boat ramp, fitness center, and more! On-site boat and trailer storage is available as well. Guest access Guests can look forward to a seamless check-in via keyless entry. The entry code will be provided ahead of your check-in date. Other things to note Air conditioning and WiFi are available throughout the home. There is a doorbell camera facing the property’s driveway for extra security and peace of mind. Two of the bedrooms are accessed via stairs, so the house isn’t wheelchair accessible. A golf cart is available for guests during your stay. In the off season (Oct-March) the boat ramp and docks may not be boat accessible due to lake levels being lowered. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and outdoor area. There is parking available in the driveway and additional parking is permitted on the street.
