Cute and cozy studio garage apartment in lovely tree filled quiet neighborhood two blocks from restaurants and a beautiful park. It is a ten to 20 minute walk to downtown, depending on what part of town you are headed for. Our location is within easy driving distance to both Cottonwood and Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. Please note that the rate quoted is for 3 adults, or 2 adults and 1-2 children. Lots of privacy with self checkin via a separate entrance. Close to everything! Parks, as well as the downtown and South Main shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. There are spectacular mountain views from the upstairs windows. It is a bright and airy space, and includes a dining table with 4 chairs, a king size bed, a futon couch, and rocking chair. The kitchen nook contains a small 2 door refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker in addition to a sink. Some Keurig pods are furnished. Breakfast is on your own at one of the walkable nearby restaurants. There are off street parking spaces next to our garage. We also provide fast WiFi. A TV is provided with a smart DVD, which allows guests to login to their own Netflix, Hulu, Roku or Prime Video accounts, or play DVDs. DVDs are rentable from the Red Box located inside the local City Market. We live on the property, and are available if you need anything. Access is through the walk door in the garage. To access this door, you have to enter our front yard gate and make an immediate left. The studio apartment is reached via one flight of stairs. Patio area at front of house is available for guests. Bikes and other gear may be stored in the garage during your stay. Early arrival luggage drop off is available. We live in the house that the garage is attached to, and are happy to provide information about the area when we are home. You probably won’t see us unless we are outworking in the yard. We are happy to meet any of our guests, and to provide information hiking, eating, and entertainment in the area. Our place is located very near the post office. It is also close to a park and lots of shops and restaurants. There are also lots of trees in this quiet neighborhood. The best ways to get around town are walking or biking, since most everything is close. The fast becoming famous Lariat Bar is a 10 - 15 minute walk in nice weather. When the weather is not cooperating, there is plenty of parking by the railroad tracks. South Main is farther but still walkable, on the other end of our small town, a little over 1 mile away. There is ample parking there as well. We do offer self checkin via a keypad lock, and will provide the code after your booking is complete. Other info on the area, and the Wifi password is available in the guest book upstairs. Please be aware that we have a no pet policy out of consideration for those guests with pet allergies.
