Private mountain top cottage w/ panoramic views of the Blue Ridge mountains. In a small community just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, close to wineries, hiking trails, & zipline. Ample parking. Three bedrooms & 1 1/2 bath. Fully stocked, newly remodeled open kitchen. Comfy & airy living room with gas log fireplace. Upper & lower spacious decks w/ seating to enjoy the full mountain range. You can see Pilot Mountain in the distance. Kick back & relax in this calm, stylish space. High speed internet. The space The front door enters into the first floor which has two bedrooms and the full bathroom (shower only, no tub). There is one room which is locked and not available with rental. The stairs up lead you into the living room, dining room and kitchen. Open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Sliding doors open to a deck with lounging/seating area and a dining table with 6 chairs. Cushions are stowed in container. There is a gas grill here. Games, cards, puzzles and books available in console. High speed/fiber internet. Gas burning fireplace. Fully stocked kitchen. Help yourself to condiments in fridge. Half bath is also on this level. Up the stairs is the third bedroom in the loft which is not a fully enclosed room. One side is open to below but feels very private. Guest access There is one room on the main floor that is locked and not included in the rental as well as the kitchen pantry and one cabinet. The hot tub is not listed as an amenity because it is not operational. Other things to note Smoking of any kind is outside only. Please do not smoke (anything) inside. If the hot water is not working, check the switch which is located on the first floor to the left of the washer and dryer. There’s a silver box with a lever- push it down. If the power goes out, there is a whole house generator. If the generator is running, you cannot operate the washer/dryer or stove. Everything else will work, including the microwave and toaster oven.
