A&M Football/Baseball - Plan B Stay

We make this tiny house available for A&M Football or Baseball games, as a plan B accommodation! Especially since hotels fill up way in advance. Simply put, it's basically a small cabin, not fancy, but is comfortable! We will also consider opening dates, if you're planning a fishing trip to Lake Somerville. There is a boat ramp in the neighborhood. There are newer, more elaborate options, if you need fancy. All questions are welcome to see if we can work out your stay! The space There is a spacy living room, combo'ed beside an open kitchen area. A large couch, a futon couch and a lazy boy chair occupy the living area, and the kitchen has a four seater table to dine at. There is a microwave, 4 electric burner stove top and a griddle but there is NO oven. (cooking and eating ware are provided) There are 2 bedrooms, one has a queen bed and the other has 2 bunk beds. Each room is cooled with window units. There is only one bathroom, and the house is on a septic system, so naturally do not flush too much tissue and NO other paper products. There is a spacy covered front porch, with porch furniture to sit out on, and an uncovered back porch as well. There is a roughed in campfire place for burning, if there is not a burn ban, and chairs to sit around the fire. There is grill, but it is rarely used, so let us know if that would be needed. There is a driveway on each side of the house, but if you bring a boat you can pull it part-way onto the grass along the street. There is NOT a circle drive. This house is occupied during the week, so you will notice it is shared space in that regard. But we are happy to share it with those that need safe, comfortable, and quiet lodging for a 3 night minimum stay. Guest access The entire house and porches are available to guests. There are notes about NON-guest use of certain dresser/closets, but other than that the space is all open to guests. Other things to note Again, this is not a fancy place. There is older furniture, appliances, etc. and the cabin itself is probably 20+ years old. We maintain it weekly, but it will never be made to look new. It is almost always occupied by us during the week, and some weekends that our family makes use of it as well.
