Osceola Mill is boutique inn located in the Shenandoah Valley 20 minutes from the historic towns of Lexington and Staunton. We have 4 Suites in the Mill house and a private cabin. The historic site was once a grist mill built in 1840 on 6 acres bordered by Marl Creek and the South River. This rustic gem is hidden away in Vesuvius, Virgina and provides a quiet rural get away with outdoor activities in the area and historic and cultural activities. Breakfast is included only on weekends. The space The McCormick Cabin was built in 1873 and features a large stone fire place with the original mill grinding stone inlaid into the exterior walls of the fire place. The 464 square ft cabin has a king size bed, full-size pull out sofa, private bathroom with standing shower, Jacuzzi tub, and living area. Amenities include a mini-fridge, microwave, linens, toiletries, coffee, tea, and bottled water. The cabin also includes a porch for sitting outside and a fire place area right beside Marl Creek. Guest access Access is via a smart lock key pad system that can be accessed via a 4-digit code. The cabin is a detached cabin from the main mill house structure. Your host will also provide you with a 4-digit code to access the main mill house to use the guest amenities. During your stay Guests will experience a seamless self-check-in process. Hosts are available via text or phone from the hours of 7am-9pm. A Continental breakfast is provided in the dining room from 8-10am every weekend morning which is also self-serve at your leisure. We do not have breakfast service on the weekdays. Unless you need additional assistance or are requesting anything - we typically let you enjoy the property and Mill house on your own. Guests are free to enjoy our Parlor, Dining room, Porch, and gardens. Other things to note You will receive a private code to enter the Mill house and another private code to your room. it will be sent to you via email and text the day of your arrival. All guests should anticipate a contactless self-check-in. Guests should feel free to reply to our texts or call us should they have any requests or questions. Each room has a room card that outlines all the details on wifi, smart TV, and other amenities.
