Empty Nester - Near Wine Country

Your private room is in a mature neighborhood with lots of trees, wide & quiet streets plus ample street parking right out front. You'l be walking distance to Target, Aldi’s market, Dutch Bros. coffee, Huckleberry’s restaurant, Papa Napoli's Deli & more. Centrally located, you can quickly travel to and enjoy nearby destinations like Solvang, Los Olivos, Los Alamos, Pismo Beach, Lopez Lake, San Luis Obispo - plus so many wineries. The space Your room features a queen size bed, desks, a cabinet with towels, a power strip to charge your electronics and a portable fan/heater if needed. You will have a private bathroom solely for your use with a toilet, sink, shower, soap/shampoo and a hair dryer. Guest access You will have access to the bedroom, with a locked door, a private bathroom with shower and the backyard to enjoy a meal or wind down. We will be home most evenings and the rest of the house is not to be accessed unless leaving out the front door or headed out to the backyard. If you are a piano player, feel free to sit and play for a bit in the dining room. During your stay We are sometimes home during the day and most evenings, and we're always happy to answer questions or provide recommendations in person when we're around. If we're not home, please feel free to reach us anytime via text, and we'll respond promptly to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Other things to note We have a very friendly, hypoallergenic Portuguese Water Dog named Winston & he does not shed. If we are not home on check-in day, the dog will be outside in the backyard. Rest assured, he is well-behaved and should not disturb you. If we are home, he may be inside and would love for you to pet him. Please do not feed him anything as he has many allergies. We have 3 external security cameras that only record upon motion detection in 1) the driveway, 2) the front entry doorbell and 3) the side yard entry fence gate. For safety at night, the driveway and side yard cameras illuminate when movement is detected. PLEASE NOTE: the use of our kitchen/refrigerator is not included. Feel free to bring a cooler to keep in your room for items needing to be cooled.
