Hobby farm Adventure

Take a break and unwind at the beautiful cabin on our picturesque hobby farm. Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened porch and spend your evenings star gazing around the firepit or in the wood burning sauna. Listen to the sound of our little waterfall at the pond, unplug and relax. Make it your romantic getaway or family trip. You and your kids will enjoy to meet our milking goats, goat babies and chicken. 5 mins by car to Eagle Lake's public launch and beach. 2 kayaks available for rent. The space The cabin is on our beautiful hobby farm property, just 5 minutes by car from Eagle Lake. Great for kayaking, boating, canoeing, swimming and fishing. We have milking goats, baby goats, chicken, cats and a dog. You can relax inside the cabin, on the screened porch or outside, take a walk on the property, visit the animals, listen to the birds and enjoy the soothing sound of our little waterfall. New wood burning Sauna available in spring and fall (weather depending). Rustic outhouse and outdoor shower (warm and cold water). 2 kayaks for rent. We provide free firewood for your firepit, woodstove and Sauna. Guest access The beautiful cabin with the screened in porch, the outdoor shower, outhouse, firepit with Muskoka chairs, sitting area at the pond and the Sauna are all for guest use. Enjoy walking the property and visiting the chicken and goats on your own (please leave the gates closed) or with us and our dog. We offer badminton and axe throwing on the lawn between our house and the barn. Free parking area on the property for one to two cars. Other things to note We have animals which may run free on the property. Please don't be scared, they are all very friendly. Please note that the cabin has an outhouse and outdoor shower (warm and cold water). Window air condition available for an additional $8/night. The wood fired Sauna is available weather (temperature) depending. We will start the woodstove if you let us know when you want to use the Sauna.
