Nestled in the tranquil hamlet of Madehurst, Vicarage Barn is perfectly situated with the South Downs National Park right at its doorstep. The barn offers a spacious yet cozy space with a charming rustic ambiance. Just a 5-minute walk away, The Pig Hotel provides luxurious spa treatments along with exceptional food and drink. Nearby attractions include Goodwood, Arundel, Chichester Theatre, West Wittering Beach, and much more. The space Open into the grand entrance hall, featuring a ping pong table and a convenient WC. Then step into the expansive living room and dining area. The kitchen is located at the far end of the house, and it connects to a cozy TV snug room. Upstairs, you'll find the main bathroom and four generously sized bedrooms: two king-sized and two double, including one with its own ensuite bathroom. The rear of the property overlooks a small churchyard Facilities include: - Private drive for up to 3 cars. - Zappi Electric Car Charging Point. - Fully equipped kitchen - oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, milk frother. - We provide some basics such as - salt, pepper, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, jay cloths, sponge scourer, bin bags, home cleaning products, soap, shampoo, hand wash, body wash, toilet paper. - 32-inch smart TV in snug room with access to Netflix ect. - DVD player. - Wifi connection - Radio & Sonos Soundsystem - Selection of board games and cards to enjoy located in the cupboard to the right of the TV. - Outdoor seating / dining area. - Indoor Fireplace - BBQ on request - Items for babies / toddlers available on request Guest access Vicarage Barn is tucked between a cluster of cottages, down an unpaved track away from the main road. With a secure automatic gate, private drive and parking for up to 3 cars. Almost off-grid and secluded, a car is required as there is no shop in walking distance. What Three Words will be provided as this gives the most accurate location of the house. Other things to note Pets welcome on request, rules apply. Check in from 4pm Check Out is 10am Please do not arrive at the property early, unless this has been pre-arranged in advance with the host. At check out, please vacate the house promptly at 10am so we can prepare for our next booking. Please shut all windows and put the keys back in the lockbox. Please also take out the rubbish, bins are located outside the main gate. Blue bin is recycling and green is normal. PLEASE NOTE: - Fireplace - Guests are welcome to use the fireplace, as long as safety precautions are followed. Please ALWAYS put the safety guard in front of the fire to stop any flames escaping. Make sure fire is fully out before leaving house or going to bed. - a limited amount of logs are provided and complimentary. If more are desired guests will have to purchase their own. - BBQ - available on request. Please clean after use, if you'd prefer not to clean it yourself we will add a £50 charge to get it professionally cleaned after you leave - Due to the age of the house, the hot water is distributed to the sinks first, leaving the shower water running cold if both used at the same time! We are working to fix this issue and appreciate your understanding in the meantime. - Anything with a red sticker is private. A thorough inventory of the house is conducted after every stay and anything damaged or stolen will be reported to AirBnB and a fine will be issued. - Please note that we are in a very rural area, power cuts are quite common especially in the winter months. While we will do our best to make sure this doesn't effect your stay, it is mostly out of our control and something to be aware of!
