Bright comfy home, sea views and big skies

Perched on a hill overlooking a mile of beach (10 minute walk) and 140 degrees of sea and sky, this bright house offers all home comforts and spectacular views, yet is close to all the amenities of historic Banff and Macduff. The Moray Firth's resident dolphins and gorgeous sunsets are often seen from the house. North-east Scotland is famous for beautiful fishing villages, castles, whisky distilleries, great walks and of course wonderful seafood. Perfect retreat and close to many attractions. The space This is a very comfortable house with spectacular views, light, airy, practical, easy. Ground floor: Entrance hall with coat pegs and boot locker, open plan dining/sitting/sun room offering plenty of space and different places to sit or work (dedicated desk area). Well equipped kitchen and utility room. Family bathroom with bath and shower. One twin and one single bedroom, large storage area below stairs. Upstairs: master bedroom with king bed and en suite shower room; one double bedroom; pillow-height view to sea from both beds. When the surf is up, you can hear it as you go to sleep. Garage: automatic door, pulley for hanging wet beachwear, tumble drier but easy to wind dry on outdoor washing lines. Paved off-street parking; paved patio overlooking sea, and beach. Guest access Whole house Other things to note All linen and towels are supplied. Pets: In view of the increase in the number of people suffering allergies, sadly we do not accept pets. We are dog lovers ourselves and hope you understand. Wood Stove: The central heating is very effective; if you want to use the stove, please let us know in advance so we can discuss fuel and cleaning. Unfortunately it is too much work for our cleaners to manage a wood supply and clean the stove. We live too far away to do it ourselves and thus we do not supply wood. EV charging: Not allowed.
