This Safari Suite is the ultimate getaway in the stunning Lake District. Perfect for couples to enjoy a romantic treat, or sole travellers for pure tranquillity, a short drive from Ambleside, and the serenity of Windemere .  Nestled in the hillside surrounded by ancient woodland, this is the perfect to relax and enjoy uninterrupted views or watch the array of wildlife venturing nearby.  This is camping at its finest, with deluxe divan bed, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen,  and so much more. The space This Safari Suite, named Windermere, is one of just three secluded retreats inside the gates of Skelwith Fold,  They have been individually furnished, offering ultimate comfort and luxury, whilst maintaining privacy and seclusion.  The suites have been custom built from heavy duty canvas with insulated walls to help maintain that cosy feel yet still provide that under canvas experience.  Divided up into distinct rooms this very spacious accommodation includes a large undercover decking with loungers and hot tub, an open-plan lounge with Smart TV and super comfortable leather sofa for relaxing, and bar type dining area made from our very own timber.  To help you really relax, the bedroom is beautifully furnished and offers a wonderful place to enjoy the best night's sleep, and a nice space to get ready for the next day's adventure. The bathroom offers a warm cosy place to shower, with twin wash hand basins, and Pure Lakes toiletries to be enjoyed by all who stay.  The fully equipped kitchen contains a hob, combi microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher and enough crockery and pans to muster up some culinary delights. So, if you fancy something a bit different from a traditional cottage, like to be close to nature, but dislike the discomfort and hassle of traditional camping then this is your ideal place to stay.   The suites are on the edge of Skelwith fold, owned by our family, and maintained to a high standard by our wonderful team. Nearby, we have onsite facilities including a well-stocked licensed shop,  laundry and library, as well as some amazing woodland walks which you are welcome to explore during your stay.
