Welcome to Millie’s Rose Cottage, a quaint two-story home, built in 1880, that is included on the National Historic Register in New Carlisle. An old building it may be, but the home offers modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet. Simplicity is the name of the game. This charming home offers a family-friendly, comfortable place to stay while you enjoy your time in northern Indiana. We are just a few miles from Lake Michigan and the University of Notre Dame. The space Pet Friendly. Three bedroom one bath home with a backyard patio & built in fire place. The front porch offers the perfect spot for morning coffee or family game night. The Cottage is within walking distance is downtown New Carlisle. There you can find local eats, coffee, ice cream, & even a candy store. You can also walk to the nearby park or library. Only a short distance by car you can visit Notre Dame University, the shores of Lake Michigan / the National Dunes, Lighthouse Premium Outlets, Blue Chip Casino, Four Winds Casino, along with local breweries & wineries. Guest access Guests are allowed to access the main level & upper level of the home. Guests are NOT allowed in the basement unless there is a severe thunderstorm or tornado warning. Other things to note With the home being built in the 1800s, the stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms could be steep for some guests. There is a bedroom on the main floor consisting of a day bed and trundle bed.
