Set in picturesque countryside next to fishing ponds whilst being conveniently located for M5 and only 5 - 10 minutes drive from nearest supermarket and town centre. Furnished to a high quality with all modern conveniences and facilities to suit all age groups. We love dogs and well-behaved dogs are very welcome. We won't charge you extra for your canine friends. The space Newly completed in 2024, Bunter's Paddock offers extensive accommodation comprising 4 king size bedrooms which are all en-suite. 3 on the first floor with a fully accessible bedroom and wet room on the ground floor. Flat screen televisions in living area and all bedrooms. There are no steps from the car park to the ground floor of the building. The property is located within 7 acres of land incorporating fishing ponds. The ponds contain Carp, Golden Rudd and Tench. Although it's a rural setting, Bunter's Paddock is also close to well-known attractions such as historic and picturesque Dunster, Wells (setting for Hot Fuzz film), Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole caves and numerous beaches. There is a public footpath along the property leading to the River Parrett, a tidal river famous for its 'bore'. Ground Floor: Fully fitted kitchen with kitchen table and bench seating. Includes saucepans, cooking utensils, cups, plates, bowls and cutlery. Plastic glasses and serving ware for use outside. Also children’s plastic tableware and cutlery. Complimentary sachets of condiments, teabags, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar. Utility room with Belfast sink, freezer and wine fridge. Boot room with external door, sink, coat and footwear storage, iron, ironing board, washer/dryer, baby equipment (microwave steriliser and electric bottle warmer). High chair, changing mat and travel cot also available at no additional cost. Large living area with 5 seater sofa. 2 seater sofa and bean bags. Electric fire, pool / table tennis table, electronic dartboard with soft tip darts. Dining table with 5 chairs and a bench (which seats at least 3). The under stairs 'dog house' sleeping area is available if your pup fancies it. Please do not allow your dog on any of the furniture or beds without adequate protection/cover. Please do not leave your dog unattended inside or out. Dog shower room - Low level dog shower plus dog grooming products. Also WC and hand basin. Drying cupboard with hanging rail. Range of board games First Floor: 3 x bedrooms with king sized beds and en-suite bathrooms (2 rooms have a free standing bath as well as separate shower). Liquid hand soap is provided in all bathrooms. Travel cot and small camp bed suitable for a child available upon request. First floor wrap around glass balustrade balcony offering views across the fishing lakes as well as to the Quantock Hills. Patio chairs and table provided. Cinema / games room with 2 x reclining chairs incorporating chilling drinks holders, heat pads and massage functions as well as large beanbags. Projector and surround sound for movies. X Box One console with 2 controllers (please provide own games). Bedding is allergen free and bed linen is Egyptian cotton. We provide bedding, bed linen, bathroom towels, hot tub towels and towels for your pups free of charge. Please note we don’t provide bedding for the travel cot or camp bed. Ultra-fast broadband is available throughout the property. We provide dog mats, feeding and drinking bowls, poo bags, as well as a dog treat jar and a tennis ball. Outside: Secluded 6 person hot tub with pergola style roof. Hot running water shower. Wrought iron dining table and 8 dining chairs. Residents holding a fishing permit are welcome to fish in the second lake (signed) but please don't fish in the lake closest to the house as this is a breeding pond. Guest access All of the property and grounds are available to guests and dogs. Self check-in via key safe Private car parking with ample parking. 5 marked parking bays with one having EV charging bay. Please note that charges may apply for charging. Other things to note Please note that no smoking is permitted anywhere within the accommodation. Smoking/vaping is allowed outside the front gate. Infants are always welcome but please note that we don't provide stair gates. Due to the rural setting and neighbouring fishing pond lakes we request that our guests keep noise to an acceptable level. If it's a party getaway that you want then we're probably not the appropriate location for you but if it's just a chilled, relaxing break then Bunter's Paddock is ideal! Please no swimming (obviously pups who like to swim are welcome to jump in).
