Description
Beautiful and spacious apartment in a unique and unspoiled setting in the heart of the Dolomites. The thousand-year-old village of Ronch, located on the Laste plateau at 1500 m above sea level, enjoys a privileged position, facing south in front of the majesty of Monte Civetta, defined by Buzzati as "the most beautiful rock wall in the Alps". 025044-LOC-00244 National Identification Code (CIN) IT025044C22FLCFGCM The space The apartment, recently renovated with meticulous respect for the history of a seventeenth-century farm, is spread over 120 square meters and is equipped with a large living area on the ground floor, with an entrance, a dressing room obtained in the old comfortable, fully equipped kitchen and traditional stube (this room is 200 cm high, since it has been maintained as it was built to enjoy the warmth of the stove; all the other rooms are much higher); through a staircase you can access the sleeping area on the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms (one double and one with two single beds) and a study with a sofa bed. To ensure comfort and livability, the maximum number of guests is set at 5, but in exceptional cases (to be agreed with the host) the sofa in the stube can become a comfortable double bed for the overnight stay of two additional guests. The space consists not only of the panoramic apartment but also of an outdoor grill and solarium area (for the cleaning of the brazier, 20 euros are required to be paid directly on site). A large fitness and wellness area, equipped with a sauna, is available near the apartment, subject to reservation, availability, and payment of an extra fee directly to the host. Finally, other paid services are available such as snowshoe rental, sleds, cleaning, etc. The village of Ronch is easily accessible by car via an asphalted road, which is kept clear of snow and easily passable even in winter. It is not necessary to have a 4x4 car to reach Ronch, but in winter it is mandatory by law to have winter tires and it is strongly recommended throughout the Dolomite region (and in the mountains in general) to have chains on board for icy and slippery roads. The Laste plateau is not crossed by main roads and the village of Ronch is the quietest inhabited area: around the house, roe deer, mouflons and foxes visit daily, as well as a herd of deer that passes under the village every evening.
