Our favorite part of the house is the beautiful new kitchen. It’s so bright and sunny! The little breakfast table is a perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee. Both of our bedrooms have high quality pillows, cozy bedding and 2 layers of blackout curtains so you can enjoy a comfy night’s sleep and wake up rested and ready to take on your day! We’ve spent our evenings and weekends bringing this home back to life and we’re so happy to share it with you! We hope you will love it as much as we do. Nathan and I love our job as hosts! We have had so many great guests, and are just so grateful to be able to do what we do. We both work in healthcare and our schedules change often, but we’re available by phone/text. We also do monthly maintenance service to keep everything working and in good shape for our guests. Guest access Please note: We are currently offering this stay at a discounted rate as we finish up some landscaping outside the home. The garage building and the trailer parked in the driveway are not included in guest spaces. We do use the garage out back sometimes to work on projects, feel free to come say hello if you happen to see us out there! Other things to note She’s an older home, so that comes with some quirks. Her floors that aren’t quite as even as they used to be, and there’s some creaks here and there but that’s just part of the charm. We have brought in experts to make sure the house is sound and safe from the ground up. The neighborhood is a mix of working families and elderly folks. We’re a quick 2-3 min drive to the main shopping area of Martinsville with Walmart, Marshall’s, grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks, fast food, etc.
