Description
Situated in the beautiful Slad Valley, only two miles from Stroud. The stable has been recently converted into a beautiful and calm space, situated within our Cotswolds smallholding. The Stable overlooks a small vineyard and young fruit orchard, with our flocks of rare breed sheep and herd of goats. Located on the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way, only 10 minutes walk from the famous Woolpack pub in Slad. Stroud is a short drive with its famous Saturday farmers market and range of independent shops The space The stable has one bedroom with a double bed. The living space is open plan to the kitchenette and has a sofa (that turns into a sofa bed) and an armchair (that turns in a child’s single bed). It’s is suitable for a couple, or family with children sleeping in the living (could be 2/3 kids) or up to three Adults, sharing the double bed and one sleeping in the living space. There is an outside terrace area perfect for watching the sunset or for your morning coffee. There is also a shower room. Located within the Cotswolds AONB there are many walks from the doorstep, and a great range of country pubs within walking distance or a short drive. Cheltenham and Gloucester are 30 minutes away and Bath & Bristol can be reached in 45-1hr. Westonbirt Arboretum and Slimbridge Wetlands centre also make a great day out are both 45 mins away. Guest access The stable is a detached property, and has an outside terrace. The stable is located within our family farm smallholding. Guests are asked not to access the main house garden or the paddocks and fields. Other things to note An early check in at 12 o’clock is available by prior arrangement for the additional cost of £30.00 A late check out at 3pm is available by prior arrangement for the additional cost of £30.00
