The space The boatshed is tucked away on Dangar Island which is a hidden gem located just northeast from the village of Brooklyn in Dyarubbin (the Hawkesbury River). Only 1 hour north of Sydney by road or rail yet another world away. Dangar Island is a unique and special natural hideaway with no cars on the island at all. The local abundant bird life provide a background to the beautiful island walking trail. Stop and enjoy a coffee or lunch at the local Cafe - open every day - or take part in the local community with the Bowling Club open 3 nights a week - often providing entertainment as well. THE BOATSHED is one large room with: 1 x Double bed (Murphy style wall bed) A new kitchenette with small fridge, dishwasher and full oven/cooktop. A lounge area with dining for two directly in front of the incredible view. The private bathroom is a few steps away across a small courtyard. A fold up travel cot is also available for your convenience. Bring your sketch pad, book, or camera and enjoy a relaxing getaway for 2 in a boatshed by the beach on Dangar Island.
