Birdsong Lodge - Northumberland

Birdsong Lodge is a peaceful retreat just a mile from the beach (the famous Sugar Sands to be exact), and perfect for exploring more of the Northumberland coastal path. We are 3 miles outside of Alnwick, perfect for visiting Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Garden and Barter Books. The lodge is a separate annexe above the stone garage in our garden. It has its own self-contained kitchen and en-suite shower-room. Small outdoor patio with table and chairs for sunny evenings. Off-street parking. The space Birdsong Lodge is a separate annexe above the stone garage in our garden. It is entered by its own front door. There is a small area downstairs for coats and shoes. Upstairs you enter into the sitting room, which has a 3-seater sofa and an armchair, plus TV and DVD player. At one end of this sitting room is a small dining table and a small, but well equipped kitchen. Leading off the sitting room is the bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. Towels are provided. There is a washing-machine and tumbler in the garage - please ask about access. There is a small outdoor patio with table and chairs for sunny evenings. Off-street parking is available on our drive. Well-behaved dogs are welcome as the area is great for walking. We have a dog ourselves so we ask that dogs are kept on their lead if in the garden.
