True fact: "Popstar Rihanna" lived in this house between the ages of 5-16 before becoming famous. The house is located on "Rihanna Drive" Formerly Westbury New Rd. This cozy and charming bungalow is quite a vibe and unique experience! It is located approx. 30-40 mins. by taxi from the airport. Brandon's Beach is a 15 min. walk. Bridgetown is about a 20-25 min. You get to enjoy our private backyard space equipped with lounge chairs, a table with umbrella as well as a covered two-seater swing. The two bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, perfect for those mornings when you want to sleep in late and do nothing. The kitchen is well equipped for those days when you want to stay in and prepare a scrumptious meal. There is a stove with a large oven, an air-fryer, a microwave, a refrigerator, a Keurig machine, cutlery and utensils. The living room has a loveseat and a couch with a bed for additional sleeping space. There is an a/c, a ceiling fan and two oscillating floor fans. There is also a flat screen TV and a coffee table with magazines filled with lots of fun things to do and see while on the island. There is a washing machine and plenty of clothes lines to hang your laundry to dry by the beautiful Caribbean sun and fresh air. You will have access to the entire house. We have a local host available to answers any questions or deal with any issues that may arise. Entry to the bungalow is via a a combination lock for self-check-in and also host check in. The neighborhood is great and the neighbors are friendly and helpful. "Sonia Ville" has a personality of its own and is quite unique, it is one of the most photograph houses on the island and not to brag or boast but Oprah Winfrey visited this house on one of her travels to the island. Sonia Ville is located on Rihanna Drive, St. Michael, Bridgetown, Barbados. On December 1, 2017, in dedication to Rihanna Robyn Fenty, the street was offically renamed from the original name of, Westbury New Road. "Sonia Ville" is approx. 8 minutes by car via Westbury and Baxter's Roads to Broad, Street, Bridgetown (main street in the city) and is approx. a 25-minute walk. Brandon's beach (the closest beach) is an approx. 12-15 walk depending on where you land along the beach or 3 minutes by car. Calm waters unless it is high tide. Kensington Oval, (a cricket and entertainment arena) is a mere 10 minute walk from Sonia Ville. The Barbados Cruise Ship Terminal is approximately 5 minutes by car or a 20 minute walk. Browne's beach is approximately 10 minutes by car or 35 minutes walking. Beautiful calm waters unless it is high tide.
