Thatched roof bungalow off-the-grid and solar powered with limited A/C can be ON for up to 12 hours daily including night, can be more limited on cloudy days. Located near dive shops, eateries and the beach. Accommodates up to 3 guests with a queen size bed and a sofa bed. Night rate is for 2 guests. This unit is not set for children under 10 years old. Parking available for small vehicles and is shared with Casa Goby, which sits in front of Casa Mexicana. No pet policy is firm. The space Thatched roof bungalow off-the-grid and solar powered studio. This unit offers: One queen-sized bed and a sofa bed (let us know if you are planning to use it as bed, so we can leave sheets). Kitchen: has a refrigerator with freezer, pots and pans, kettle, french press, coffee grinder and a gas top stove (no oven), cooking oil, salt, pepper and coffee. There is a drinking water filter in the kitchen faucet. A dining table accommodates three guests. Bathroom: has shower gel, shampoo, towels, toilet paper and a wardrobe. Outside guests can enjoy a dining table that is partly shaded along with a hammock. Parking adjacent to the house is available for small to medium-sized cars, while parking for larger vehicles can be found one block away. Due to our power limitation appliances like: T.V., toaster, microwave, hair dryer, washing machine/dryer, dish washer, central heating or any other appliances that generate heat are NOT offered. The use of high voltage appliances is not permitted as it can damage the solar system. Guest access Parking is shared between Casa Mexicana and Casa Goby, although they are located in the same property, they are distinct units. Other things to note Cabo Pulmo is a rural, remote and secluded town lacking amenities such as gas stations, pharmacies, and laundry facilities. It's advisable to visit larger supermarkets in Los Cabos or La Paz. Chedrahui and Soriana are the closest markets to the airport in San José del Cabo. You may hear roosters occasionally and see cows roaming around the neighborhood. There are six casual restaurants available in town with different working hours offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. While some restaurants take credit cards, cash is preferred and in Mexican pesos. ATM/banks are not available here. Cabo Pulmo midnight is about 9 pm/ 21:00 hrs. The last gas station (Pemex) is in La Ribera across the street from the last ATM (Banorte) along with the last modest grocery store on the right side of the highway "El Rey". Cabo Pulmo has two very small and modest stores offering a very limited selection of products like: eggs, drinking water, milk, wine, beer and some snacks. When driving to Cabo Pulmo, avoid the East Cape road if driving at night and if you don't have a 4x4. This road doesn't have any cellphone signal until reaching Cabo Pulmo. Gas stations are not available along the road.
