This stunning, self contained flat is part of an Old Rectory situated in a rural location between Warwick and Stratford on Avon. Wander around a gorgeous garden filled with roses and organic vegetables or drive into Warwick five minutes away where you can visit the oldest medieval building in England along with other historical buildings. Stratford on Avon, the heart of Shakespeare is equidistant. Delve into Tudor England, the greatest historic playwright and take a trip on the Avon Canal. The space You enter the flat into a large, bright, air filled sitting room/dining/kitchen. The kitchenette is hidden in a cupboard leaving the large living area open and uncluttered. The view of the exquisite garden is remarkable. You can sit out in it and enjoy the evening sunshine under the rose pergola and walk into the unique vegetable garden where many different varieties of organic vegetables are grown with love and care. The double bedroom has a large double bed and ensuite bathroom with a powerful shower an masses of hot water provided by the environmentally friendly wood chip boiler. Nestling in parkland with 160 year old specimen trees, Norton Curlieu is an oasis away from stress and trouble but only 3 miles from Junction 15 on the M40. The view from the garden is of the magnificent, historic Church of St. Mary's Warwick which contains some of the UK's finest church monuments having been spared by the Puritans. Warwick Castle and The Lord Leycester hospital are a must see. Guest access The free parking is immediately next to a garden gate with direct access to the entrance to the Rectory. From there it is a flight of stairs to the flat. Park by the gate and walk through it and up the stairs. It is one minutes walk. Other things to note Those of a literary bent can brave the crowds with a visit to Stratford on Avon which is 7 miles away. The Royal Shakespeare theatre is remarkable, standing proud as it does in a setting surrounded by swans and canal boats on the river Avon. The curious visitor can wander the streets and enjoy Tudor Britain at its finest with restaurants, music an all manner of delights.
