Description
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway to the countryside or planning a long vacation to take advantage of the outdoor adventures the area has to offer, our place has you covered! Within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, nearby hiking trails, and the reservoir, you're sure to love this charming farm town! The space We’re delighted to have you stay at our charming cottage, which has a unique history—it was once a Native American museum and later repurposed as a soap factory. The building, along with the neighboring unit, has been lovingly renovated and now offers fully functional, comfortable homes. Centrally situated in Coalville, you'll enjoy easy walking access to local restaurants, a grocery store, and scenic trails. With I-80 just moments away, exploring the stunning nature and rich history of the area is a breeze. Ski enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers will appreciate the short drive to Park City and Salt Lake City, where you can access world-class skiing, hiking, biking, and boating. Our cozy space is perfect for up to two guests. Enjoy a restful stay in the cozy bedroom with a queen bed and closet. The fully renovated bathroom is bright and spacious, designed to enhance your comfort. Don’t let the size of our tiny kitchen fool you—it’s a workhorse! Equipped with a fridge, gas range and oven, microwave, Keurig, French press, electric kettle, and toaster oven. While there is no dishwasher, we provide ample soap and sponges for your convenience. Relax in the comfy living room with a TV and a selection of reading materials. The unit includes a washer/dryer combo, perfect for doing laundry or drying your gear after a day on the slopes. The space also includes a propane grill located next to the concrete slab in the yard. Please be aware that this is a communal grill shared among the Airbnb, our personal residence (Unit A), and our rental property (the large Victorian in the front). TO OUR RETURNING GUESTS: you may have noticed that we've enhanced the yard! We've upgraded the space with a pergola, firepit, and seating. You'll also find a large, brown chest next to the Victorian that's stocked with an assortment of yard games for you to enjoy! Stay tuned as we continue to make improvements to our beautiful yard! Guest access You might be surprised when you arrive and see a large Victorian home instead of a small, brick unit. That’s because your accommodation is located at the back of this property. Here’s how to find us: Enter the property via the long driveway to the left of the Victorian home's garage. Park in front of the brown barn. Please note that only one car will fit in this parking area, so kindly leave enough space for our two vehicles as well. The unit you’ll be staying in is the one furthest to the right, near the tree and fence. You will have the entire unit to yourself for the duration of your stay but keep in mind that our unit is attached to yours, so you may occasionally hear some activity next door. Other things to note Please note that the window in the bedroom does not stay open on its own. If you choose to open it, use the provided dowel to hold it up. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The water tank for the building is located in your unit. You may hear it making noises when you turn on the water or when we use ours in the adjacent unit. Your unit has central air (heating only), but there is no thermostat to control it within your space. The thermostat is located in our unit. If you find your unit too hot or too cold, you can use the space heater and air conditioner provided, as well as the ceiling fan in the bedroom, to adjust the temperature to your liking. Please be aware that we store the air conditioner during the winter months. The window it normally sits in can be opened if you find the space getting too hot, however, like the bedroom window, it requires a dowel to keep the window open. PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG THE INTERNET ROUTER AT ANY TIME DURING YOUR STAY. We share the WiFi connection between our unit and yours, and unplugging the router will affect both of us. Please do not adjust the temperature on the water heater. This is not only for your safety but for ours as well. If you find the water is too cold or too hot, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will adjust it for you. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy your stay in this cozy home!
