The house is very new with the comfort of a class A house, very quiet and close to small shops: bakery (closed on Mondays), restaurant (closed on Saturdays and Sundays and every evening), a hairdresser, a post office, a small media library, nurses, a garage and a bus to get to Fougères, a city labeled "City of Art and History" located 3 kilometers away. It is a medium-sized town with its castle and medieval quarter (120,000 visitors), its belfry, its sports and cultural activities: museums, theater, aquatic center, bowling, equestrian center and its many green spaces, its market. A soccer field is located nearby... and a brand new sports complex! Warning to people with allergies: there are two cats Guest access The suite is upstairs from the house. Available: A 12 m2 bedroom (view of the countryside and the street) with desk and storage closet, a mezzanine (very bright with its large windows overlooking the garden) with sofa and work table, a private bathroom with shower and bathtub and a separate private toilet. Breakfast will be served at our living room table on the ground floor or outside if the weather permits. Outside you will have garden furniture, a table where you can bring your dinner. We will be happy to host you in our contemporary home located in one of the most visited regions of France. Ideally located, you will have the opportunity to discover historic sites, beautiful landscapes, welcoming towns rich in historical heritage. Many tours will delight young and old! Fougères (5 min) accessible by bus line 4 with its medieval castle, the sanctuary of Pontmain with its basilica (apparition of the Virgin on January 17, 1871), the Vitré castle (30 min), Rennes (1 hr), Saint Malo, Dinard, Granville, the sea (45 min), Rennes and its city of sciences and planetarium. Nature and outdoor enthusiasts can stroll through the Fougères state forest where there are curiosities such as the Cordon des Druides (alignment of a dozen menhirs), the Courcoulée stone (gallery dolmen), the pond and the Chénedet leisure center with tree climbing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, its health course as well as its artificial beach and swimming (9 min), the Landes de Jaunouse is a site of great ecological wealth, crossed by pretty trails and streams, where many animals and plants have made their home (19 min), the Lande Marais peat bog is one of the most beautiful exceptional natural sites in Brittany (19 min), the Fee Rock (1 hr), the Bourbansais estate with its castle and zoo as well as the Champrepus zoo. Lovers of beautiful gardens can stroll and marvel at the Haute Bretagne Botanical Park (21 min), the classified Pellerine Garden: remarkable garden (my favorite, 16 min) and the Renaudies Gardens (27 min). Sports enthusiasts will find happiness with the various activities offered in the area: climbing, tree climbing, zip lines, pedal boats, sand yachting, paragliding. - The Saut Roland in Dompierre-du-Couest (19 min): Immersion in the heart of the legends of Brittany with its climbing site that is offered to experienced climbers armed with their equipment! and its trail. -The Villecartier forest and its RécréNature leisure center. (40 min): tree climbing course, miniature port, games library. - Sand yachting and paragliding in the bay of Mont Saint Michel. * Ideal location for hiking with bike rentals and electric scooters in Fougères 4 km away and easily accessible by bus. - The "La Régalante" V409 greenway that connects Mont Saint Michel to Nantes for a country and heritage walk (4 km from our accommodation or accessible by bus from Fougères) - The GR37 Coeur de Bretagne, voted the French people's favorite GR season 7-2024 (1.5 km) . Leave the GR and take the PR "Vallons et Forêt" in Laignelet and you will arrive a short walk from the house. Which promises beautiful memories in perspective.
