The space Our beautifully decorated lake cottage is perfect for your extended stay. With 3 cozy bedrooms and 2 full baths, our home offers all the comforts you need for a relaxing getaway, and all the necessities that you would desire if you are traveling for work. This serene retreat is available for 28-day or longer rental periods; it requires a lease to be signed by all guests 18+ years of age, and a security deposit to be collected. Copy of lease will be sent as soon as booking is confirmed. Nestled right on the lake, our cottage is surrounded by natural beauty, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting. The well-equipped kitchen comes with all the basics you need to whip up delicious meals, the dining table seats six and still offers lake views while you dine, and our bathing and beach supplies (even a boogie board and kids life vests in the garage) ensure fun and relaxation. Enjoy our collection of games (including ladder ball for fun on the lawn), children's toys, and children's books. Snuggle up with cozy blankets, retreat to the comfortable rockers near our large lakeside windows, and take advantage of the in-home laundry facilities. Whether you're seeking tranquility, adventure, or a place to reside after a day's work, our lakeside cottage is your perfect home away from home. Guest access Feel free to explore the entire house. No cupboard, drawer, or closet space is off-limits! Games, blankets, pillows, paper, bottle openers, etc. are tucked away in several bedside tables, hutches, etc. Other things to note Please take note of the fact that short term rentals are not permitted in the city of Cadillac and that this is a medium term rental; the shortest rental period permissible is 28 days. Also, being as the nature of the rental period is medium-term and not short-term, a lease and security deposit are required up front. (Our sincerest hope is to return the entirety of your security deposit!) If you have booked a stay and need to push back the start date of your stay by 14 days or longer date within a month of the start of your stay, you will be charged 40% of the days originally booked, due to inability to rent the home during that time.
