Luxury Garden Bothy with views.

Beautiful, luxury, bright, spacious, brick-black clad Garden Bothy. Self contained. Bifold door opens onto a large south facing terrace looking out with lovely views onto our farmland. Double bed, high thread count sheets & plentiful towels. Modern luxury bathroom with large rainfall shower. Walking distance/short drive to Merrydale Manor Wedding Venue & less than 5 min drive to Colshaw Hall. Walkable to the excellent ‘The Dog’ pub. Walkable to main line train station to Manchester- Crewe. The space Why stay? Read the reviews from our fabulous and valued previous guests. The Garden Bothy sits in a private space in the grounds of our Georgian Farm Cottage (our cottage looks a little like the one in the film 'The Holiday'). It has its own access gate - from the main driveway. The Garden Bothy consists of one bright, open space. It has underfloor heating throughout. We provide high thread count quality sheets & bedding and plentiful luxury towels for your comfort. The space provides a double bed, table and chairs - that can double as a desk/ dressing table. Sofa, coffee table, and a large butlers pantry which houses a microwave, kettle & toaster. We provide cereals, bread, fresh milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottles of water and a few more treats to make your stay a little bit more special. There is a TV on a bracket so it can be seen from the bed or sofa. There is a fridge ( with a small freezer space & hanging space for clothes. Hangers are provided. There is a hairdryer and hairspray. (Under the shelf on the coffee table). If you are attending an event locally there are high hooks to hang long dresses etc and a full length mirror. The separate shower room is spacious and has a large walk in rainfall shower. Heated towel rail and electric shaving point. There is a spacious, south facing covered terrace. This is accessed via the bifold door- which when opened fully gives that real indoor/outdoor feel. On the terrace you will find a table & chairs, a sun lounger and there is a heater provided. You will find snuggy blankets/throws in a basket by the door. There are cushions for the outside chairs too. The terrace looks out over our paddocks & farmland. We don't use the garden that the Garden Bothy sits in when we have guests so you have a private space to enjoy. Please note it is only the terrace that is for guests - the rest of the garden is private - thank you. 🌸 SPRING 2026 we are excited to announce we are opening our ‘pick your own’ flower field. 🌸 Guest access The Garden Bothy is accessed by its own access to the left of our cottage front door - through a black wooden gate - with a GARDEN sign on it. Parking is on the driveway of our main property. The drive is secure and gated. There is parking space for one car for guests. Should more parking be required - please contact us. The key is in a lockbox and on the day prior to arrival a code will be sent. If you would prefer a meet and greet - in most cases we can arrange this - so please do ask if this is your preference. We live next door. Other things to note There is no full kitchen. There is a Butlers Pantry which contains -a microwave, kettle & toaster. Tea bags, fresh milk and fresh coffee bags provided. Also hot chocolate. We provide bread, butter, cereals and jam so that guests enjoy a simple relaxing breakfast. For a hot breakfast we can make local recommendations only 5mins away. Thank you. The Garden Bothy has light curtains that complement the light fresh feel of the space. If you prefer blackout we suggest you bring eye masks. Thank you. The Garden Bothy has its own designated outdoor space for guests - a covered South Facing Terrace. The garden surrounding it is private and not for the use of guests.
