The Tranquil Tipi

As you park in our field you will see a door in the woods . When you open the door you see a trail leading down through the woods . As you work your way down the trail you will start to see the Tranquil Tipi come into view . It will be like it is sitting there waiting on you, inviting you to come on inside and relax. When you are ready to explore you can go back outside and roast a marshmallow or wander further down the trail and relax in the hot tub or float in the pool. Just relax and enjoy. The space We have 10 acres in a private community. We have recently added a small walking trail that starts in our field and winds around through our wooded area and ends at our pool for our guests to enjoy at their leisure. Guest access Guest will have access to a pool and hot tub and their own private bathroom.(Pool is closed for the season) Other things to note We are in the woods. You may encounter bugs and other woodland critters! If it rains the tipi does leak water in around the door and around the outside edges of the tipi so try not to leave shoes or personal items in these areas if it looks like it could rain .The bed and inside stays dry. The private bathroom is 80 feet from the Tipi (it is not on the Tipi deck) it is off the hot tub room on the back of the house and you will be the only ones using it. We do have 3 dogs that we keep put up when we are hosting so you might hear them and sometimes they have been known to get out on us . They are friendly we just don’t want to have them jumping up on our guest or bothering them. ( Some of are guest have requested to meet the dogs which made the dogs very happy :) We are just 6 miles to Bonne Terre where the Mine tours and scuba diving is at , also there is the Space museum and Drag strip in Bonne Terre . Cherokee landing is 7 miles to rent canoes to float Big River. 9 1/2 miles to St Francois state park. 16 miles to St Joe state park. Farmington Mo is 16 miles with all sorts of restaurants and shopping. Star Lite drive-in is 21 miles to see a movie . We are 65 miles to St. Louis. We look forward to hosting you.
