Geitsetra

Recharge your batteries in this unique place, Geitsetra right under Skagsnebb, in the middle of Jotunheimen. Here you have many of the known 2000 meter stops in Jotunheimen right outside the door,a great starting point for both feet and skiing. From Sep/Oct there is no running water so we will run water in jugs out to the farm until the month of Mai/Juni. This was originally a Geitseter,but now the barn is empty and on the 2nd floor there is a spacious apartment,but great views. If there are any questions, please let me know🙂. The space this is originally a Geitseter,with a large apartment on the 2nd floor. spacious living room,kitchen,2 bedrooms with 3 beds in each room,bathroom with shower/toilet and a small hallway w/storage. From October, there is no running water there,so we drive out water in large jugs,as well as running a river close to the farm. It is about 35 minutes to Lom city center,and 15 minutes to the grocery store (which is 24/7) here in Bøverdalen. It is also a short distance to Galdhøgpiggen climbing park, etc. A short drive past the farm is Leirvassbu with opportunities to buy a better meal, etc. Due to sheep outside the farm, take off the shoes down the hallway before you go upstairs, it will be easier to clean. Dogs are most welcome but not up in the apartment, in respect of allergy sufferers. The address is: Leirdalsvegen 524. NOTE: From the end of October to May, the water must be closed,so there is only water on jugs on the farm,no running water in the canyon. Guest access You enter a hallway/old milk room,there is a steep staircase up to the seats-apartment. Other things to note You will get a code for the lock on the door when booking accommodation. Should there be any problems with the water, please contact us by phone,do not wait until the evening🙂there is water directly from the mountain so there is a chance that the pipe can clog then we will sort out if we should happen. Water from containers from October until May,ish. Inlet water only when the frost is gone. THE WATER WILL BE CONNECTED JUST OVER MAY 17, 2025. The pasture is located on a toll road towards Leirvassbu.
