The View, is a private stunning en-suite space with far reaching views of the Esk Valley. Whitby is easily accessed by a short car/train or bus journey. Guest space is on the first floor of a Victorian Villa and is entered through a private landing via a dedicated guest staircase. A stylish space, with quirky twists of a modern interior. Fitted with a 50" Smart Freeview TV/Netflix, fridge, toaster, kettle. A microwave/washing up area is available in the utility room. The space If you are ready for a tranquil countryside stay just minutes from the bustling town of Whitby, then we would love to welcome you at 'The View'. Situated in the beautiful village of Sleights, serviced by both an award winning butchers and bakery, a pub, fish and chip restaurant and Supper Club cafe. Your accommodation is situated within a stunning Victorian Villa. There is ease of entrance with self check in, then through to the guests private separate staircase which leads to 'The View' private accommodation. Your space has a King Size bed fitted with luxurious comfortable mattress, to ease you into you holiday. Your en-suite is fitted with both a bath and a shower with towelling robes for your comfort. Careful thought has been applied to equipping the space ensuring guests are comfortable. We respect the fact that the majority of guests would like privacy and it is unlikely that you will see the household, unless access to the washing machine is needed in the utility room downstairs. We hope that guests enjoy the dual aspect within the room, with amazing countryside views overlooking the valley towards the moorland. We provide guests with the facilities to enjoy making a light lunch or breakfast within the accommodation. There is a fridge, toaster and kettle available and cutlery etc. Guests are also welcome to use the microwave/sink situated in the utility room on the ground floor. Free roadside parking is available just off the main road and you are usually able to park opposite the house. There is also the free village car park just 60 yards away. Many of our guests leave the car altogether during their stay, in favour of timing their visit to Whitby with a bus or train ride (always check the timetable!). If you are a keen walker, there are many walks you can take part in, direct from the house. The Esk Valley walk, will take you into Whitby or through the Valley towards Grosmont or Egton. The trainline also stops at some of the most prettiest villages in the North Yorks Moors as well as a long, but direct train through to Newcastle. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the microwave and sink in the utility room which is situated on the Ground Floor. During your stay We are led by the guests with regards to interaction. The majority of our guests enjoy their privacy and we respect that and you are unlikely to meet us as the accommodation is quite private. However we are always contactable if you have a question etc, by phone call, text or a knock on the main door leading into the house! Other things to note The accommodation is not suitable for infants or children due to the layout of the space.
