The space This spacious 2,500 sq. ft. farmhouse comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. It features two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, a bedroom with two queen beds, and two queen/full-sized sleeper sofas in the recreation (game) room. Guests can enjoy a game of pool or darts, watch a movie on the 72-inch TV, or relax in the cozy parlor with a book or game from the extensive library. The farmhouse also includes a modern, fully stocked kitchen and a large dining room that comfortably seats 14. Nestled on a 96-acre farm in the heart of North Texas, this farmhouse offers a peaceful retreat where wildlife such as deer and raccoons roam freely, as no hunting is permitted on the property. Guests are welcome to explore the farm on any of the roads and take in the natural beauty of the area. Please note, this is a recently acquired family farm. Guests have access to a large, covered three-car carport behind the house for parking and easy unloading. One space is occupied by a Chevy farm truck, used by the owners when in town for farm maintenance. However, ample parking is available for multiple vehicles in the long, paved driveway. Guest access Guests have full access to the home, except for the owner’s and cleaning closets. The sprawling 96-acre farm is home to cattle and a sanctuary for deer, raccoons, and other native Texas wildlife. Although the outbuildings are off-limits, guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the rest of the property at their leisure. Other things to note Don’t forget your boots! In Texas, we’ve got a variety of critters and plant life, especially those prickly cockleburs, which is why cowboy boots are a staple here—and not just because they look cool. If you’re planning to stroll around the back forty, make sure to wear proper footwear. And if you don’t have a pair, no worries—there’s a boot shop on just about every corner!
